I like this song, but I do feel it's a bit of a cop-out. Basically he's saying he doesn't like how things are going but there's nothing he can do about it, so he's just going to wait. I would think, with his celebrity status, that people are listening to him and he could influence them.

ReplyDeleteMaybe he's not writing from first person point of view. Maybe it's about someone else who feels helpless to effect change.
