The Wikipedia entry for this song says that Toni Basil's hit was a cover of "Kitty" with the name changed to "Mickey" to describe her crush on Mickey Dolenz (from the Monkees). I believe this source explains how both Earl and I ended up using "crush" in our poems. It's not clear if Pat thinks Mickey Dolenz is pretty.
Well Mickey is fine and blows her mind, so that's all good.
